December 1, Monday: Pray for God to bring many new people to the Journey this month, may God use The Journey to show the joy of Jesus! Who could you invite?
December 2, Tuesday: Pray for all the couples who are attending the Marriage Small group. May the Holy Spirit guide the leaders, and may each attendee come with open hearts and minds to learn how to have a better Christ-centered marriage.
December 3, Wednesday: Pray for Curt as he leads a seminar on The End Times, pray that many choose to see what we have to look forward to!
December 4, Thursday: Pray for the missionary couple Dylan & Hanna that The Journey is sponsoring in North Africa. Yay God! Dylan and the Nosu team got encouraging feedback on Luke chapter one! Continue to pray for the translation team for unity in their relationships, effectiveness in their work, and protection over their families.
December 5, Friday: Pray for all the folks at The Journey who are traveling to Summers Mill to attend the Couples Retreat. Pray they have safe journeys and are inspired to live a Godly marriage. Pray for all the leaders that the Holy Spirit guides them to inspire the couples in their groups to commit to each other and to God.
December 6, Saturday: Pray for Pastor Paul as he leads our worship and youth ministries and serves as an elder. May God strengthen and encourage him and his family.
December 7, Sunday: Pray for God’s Spirit to work powerfully in our services today, especially bringing unity and encouragement as we take the Lord’s supper!
December 8, Monday: Pray for the missionary couple Brandon & Brittney that The Journey is sponsoring, in Bangkok. Pray for Thailand Indigenous Missions to reach the lost and their ministry thrives in Bangkok. Pray for the startup and building of Sutthisan Church, the Men’s Bible Study and the follow ups after Medical Outreach.
December 9, Tuesday: Pray for the women of The Journey as they meet this morning at the LaFevers' and let them have great fellowship and a meaningful devotion time.
December 10, Wednesday: Pray for Young Soo Kim who The Journey is sponsoring in his ministry at The University of Texas at Austin with Cru as he is bringing the message of Christ to the foreign students, may his ministry be fruitful. Pray for spiritual discernment, each time they meet, they may introduce Jesus in the way most fitting for each student.
December 11, Thursday: Pray that Josh Murray, our new Minister of Outreach, is successful in growing this new ministry and The Journey is known for its servant heart towards our community. Pray for strength and support for his family.
December 12, Friday: Pray God fills the hearts of numerous volunteers to serve at Foster Parent Night Out. Pray that the foster parents are renewed and find peace in faithfully serving their foster children.
December 13, Saturday: Pray for great opportunities as Kid’s Outdoor Zone (KOZ) meets today. Pray for strength and support for all the leaders as they guide the boys with their knowledge of God’s outdoors as well as teach how to be Godly men. Pray that the young boys who attend are encouraged to live as God designed them.
December 14, Sunday: Pray for newcomers to The Journey to take the next step and attend Exploring The Journey; pray they will consider committing to The Journey and call The Journey home.
December 15, Monday: Pray for our executive board as they meet tonight. May God give them wisdom and unity in their discussions. Pray for our Elder team as they serve our church’s spiritual needs. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and guidance as they strive to do God’s will. Pray they keep their servant’s hearts.
December 16, Tuesday: Pray for all those who call The Journey their home to honor God as the owner all their possessions and to faithfully and joyfully give the Lord His First Fruits.
December 17, Wednesday: Pray for John Peterson and all the faithful ministry he does behind the scenes. May God grant him energy, joy, and wisdom. Pray for strength and support for his family.
December 18, Thursday: Pray for Pastor Curt as he leads The Journey. Ask God to empower his preaching and to grant him boldness and compassion in his ministries. Pray for strength and support for his family.
December 19, Friday: Pray for the missionary couple Jason & Rene that The Journey is sponsoring. Pray for their team as they seek to expand their reach. Pray for their precious local partners, Yoshi and Henna, that would be good candidates to join their team. Pray for wisdom and insight from the Lord as our local partners have conversations with lost people online.
December 20, Saturday: Pray for the men who will be at the fire pit this morning and for the men who will be attending Journey Men Saturday. May God build these brothers in His Word and Spirit.
December 21, Sunday: Pray for Jonathan & Elizabeth that The Journey is sponsoring in North Africa. Pray they continue to “adjust” to living in a new country and all that entails. Pray they would continue to lean into the Lord and have a posture of humility.
December 22, Monday: Pray for the missionary couple Seth & Antonia that The Journey is sponsoring in East Timor. Pray for Seth and his students as he teaches at the Bible Institute. Pray for Antonia’s US citizenship, and for a speedy return to Timor.
December 23, Tuesday: Pray for the lost, that God brings someone into their lives to introduce them to Christ and invites them to attend a church service.
December 24, Wednesday: Pray that The Journey’s Christmas Eve Services be a guiding light to those who attend. Pray for those in our church and community who are struggling with loneliness. Ask God to open your eyes to reach out to someone who may be lonely.
December 25, Thursday: Pray that our community celebrates the true meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ as they celebrate with their families. Pray God is with those who are hurting, alone, and feeling lost during this joyous time that He may send someone to comfort them.
December 26, Friday: Pray for the youth of our church. Pray that their walk with our savior is strengthen and is an encouragement for those around them to look into this “Jesus” thing!
December 27, Saturday: Pray for the Worship team, Café team, Greeters, Safety Coordinators and our Pastors as they prepare for worship today. May God give them peace and let the Holy Spirit guide them as they serve.
December 28, Sunday: Pray for Lindsay Albertin and Journey Kids for them to see fruit in building kids up with the Word and equipping parents to disciple their kids.
December 29, Monday: Pray for our orphanage partner, Mission of Hope, in Haiti and the DR and the kids we sponsor there. May God use this ministry to care for many precious children. Pray for our partners Angel Heart Ministries and Fostering Hope as they minister to the foster children of our community.
December 30, Tuesday: Pray for those attending The Journey to build strong relationships with each other and do life together outside the church.
December 31, Wednesday: Pray for our community at The Journey, that they may be kept safe throughout the evening as end of the year celebrations are being held.
