Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ) - December

Christmas time is when everyone thinks about helping others. We always want to remember that it is important to treat others the way we want to be treated. Take time this week, this month, and do something big for someone else. Give back for God, give back for KOZ, give back for you.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9: 6-7, Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let each one do just as he is purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Overview: When do you give back? It is so important to be a giver and not just a taker. The ability to think about others and not us is a huge step in your walk with Jesus. Go for it, give it away, or help others. It matters.

WHOA!  Did you know that the average kid today spends only 40 minutes a week outside? Meanwhile, they typically spend 70 hours a week looking at an electronic screen. Seems out of balance doesn’t it?

Well, at The Journey we have a great experience to help bring that into better balance. Kids Outdoor Zone, also known as KOZ, enables men to mentor boys from ages 8-18 in outdoor activities as well as helping them walk with the Lord every month.

No specialized knowledge of outdoor activities is required. Just be there!
